World Record Set For Balancing A Running Lawn Mower On Chin

If something stupid is worth doing, it’s worth doing longer than anyone else has ever done it. That’s the stuff world records are made of. David Rush is the pride of Idaho, and he’s in the midst of a mighty quest to hold the world record for the most world records. His latest entry into the Guinness Book of World Records is for balancing a running lawn mower on his chin…for nine minutes and 17 seconds. It was four years ago when Rush last attempted this record, but his time of three minutes and fifty-seven seconds was disqualified…because the mower he was using “didn’t have a bag on it.” Currently, Rush holds 165 world records, putting him 15 short of the record of 180, which is held by Silvio Sabba.
